{¶ 1} This matter is before the court on the notice of appeal of Brandon Dearmond, filed August 20, 2007. Following a trial to a jury in two consolidated cases, Dearmond was convicted, in case No. 2006 CR 1422, of aggravated robbery, in violation of R.C. 2911.01, a felony of the first degree, with a firearm specification. Dearmond was also convicted, in case No. 2006 CR 1404, of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police...
