{¶ 1} Dae'Shawn Spears was convicted after a jury trial in the Montgomery Court of Common Pleas of murder, two counts of felonious assault, discharging a firearm on or over a public road, and tampering with evidence. The trial court separately convicted Spears of having weapons while under disability. Five of the charges included firearm specifications, which were merged.
