{¶ 1} The state charged James Barr with one count of aggravated possession of drugs after a police officer found a bottle of pills containing methylphenidate during a traffic stop. Barr moved to dismiss this charge on double-jeopardy grounds, asserting that he had already been convicted of drug abuse in violation of Athens City Ordinance 9.06.15 for the same offense.
