{¶1} A Ross County jury convicted Jason Kinney of one count of domestic violence, a third-degree felony because of Kinney's three prior convictions for domestic violence. The charge stemmed from an incident in which Kinney struck his 66-year-old mother after an argument over money. Kinney testified that he struck his mother in self-defense after she hit him with a stick, while his mother testified...
