OPINION

FRENCH, J.

{¶1} Defendant-appellant, Jesse A. Cabrera, and plaintiff-appellee/cross-appellant, Chonita Cabrera, both appeal from a judgment of the Court of Common Pleas, Division of Domestic Relations, which found Jesse in contempt, gave Jesse the opportunity to pay Chonita $25,977.28, plus $5,721.27 in attorney fees and expenses, to purge the contempt, and denied Chonita's request for an award of statutory interest.
