OPINION

DONOVAN, J.

{¶ 1} Appellant-counsel for decedent appeals a decision of the Greene County Probate Court overruling his motion to appoint him as special representative to pursue an appeal of an emergency guardianship on behalf of Virginia Crandall, deceased. The probate court filed its decision on April 12, 2007. Appellant filed a timely notice of appeal with this Court on May 10, 2007.
