We are asked to decide whether the police lawfully stopped defendant's vehicle while acting in their role of assisting those in need of aid. Although we recognize a "community caretaking" function pursuant to which, in certain circumstances, police may stop a moving vehicle, we nevertheless conclude that under the circumstances here...
