On May 20, 2022, the New York State Supreme Court promulgated the 2022 New York Senatorial District Maps, pursuant to the 2021 decennial census, for the November 8, 2022 general election (see Harkenrider v Hochul, 2022 NY Slip Op 31471[U] [Sup Ct, Steuben County 2022]). The first day for a candidate to be eligible to collect signatures was May 21, 2022.
