The court providently exercised its discretion in imposing reasonable limits on cross-examination of the victim regarding prior inconsistent statements (see People v Corby, 6 N.Y.3d 231, 234-235 [2005]). Of the three excluded statements, two were ambiguous remarks taken out of context of lengthier conversations, and their elicitation could have confused the jury (see People v Duncan, 46 N.Y.2d 74
