Defendant was charged in a 15-count indictment with various drug-related offenses. In full satisfaction of the indictment, defendant pleaded guilty to one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the second degree with the understanding that she would be sentenced to a prison term of eight years followed by five years of postrelease supervision.
