After a trial, a jury found that the defendant police officers assaulted, battered, and used excessive force against plaintiff Walid M., a teenager who had been diagnosed with autism, in the course of responding to plaintiffs' request for assistance in transporting him to his assisted living facility (Ferncliff Manor) during Hurricane Sandy.
