We find that the verdict was against the weight of the evidence (see People v Danielson, 9 N.Y.3d 342, 348-349 [2007]). Two police officers testified that they observed defendant in a high drug trafficking area. They both saw defendant approach a man and talk to him. The man gave defendant money and there was an "exchange," but the officers did not see what was exchanged. Shortly thereafter, one of the officers witnessed a woman...
