The County Court providently exercised its discretion in denying the defendant's request, on the day of sentencing, for new counsel, since the defendant failed to make the requisite specific factual allegations of serious complaints about counsel (see People v Porto, 16 N.Y.3d 93, 100 [2010]; People v Medina, 44 N.Y.2d 199, 207 [1978]).
