In reviewing custody issues, deference is to be accorded to the determination rendered by the fact-finder, unless it lacks a sound and substantial basis in the record (Yolanda R. v Eugene I.G., 38 A.D.3d 288, 289 [1st Dept 2007]). We find that the order on appeal has a sound and substantial basis in the record, and neither petitioner nor the attorney for the child (AFC) presents grounds to reverse.
