The order of the Appellate Division should be affirmed.

Defendant contends that the towing and inventory search of his vehicle by law enforcement officers, following his arrest for shoplifting, was unconstitutional. Store security had observed defendant — who was known to them as a shoplifter from prior incidents — park a vehicle in their parking lot, and security personnel had specifically requested...
