Following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of criminal possession of marihuana in the first degree stemming from his acceptance of a package containing over 10 pounds of marihuana that was delivered to his home address. Supreme Court sentenced him to 3½ years in prison followed by two years of postrelease supervision, and he now appeals.
