Defendant entered a convenience store, followed the cashier behind the counter and said, "Give me the money. Gun. Give me the money." Two women who were standing near the cash register ran out of the store. The cashier gave defendant money and defendant left the store. One of the women called out to her brother, Jose Arroyo Jr., who was across the street, telling him that there had been a robbery. Arroyo chased defendant, who turned and pointed a weapon...
