Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Collini, J.), rendered June 1, 2006, convicting him of murder in the second degree and attempted murder in the second degree (two counts), upon a jury verdict, and sentencing him to an indeterminate term of imprisonment of 25 years to life upon the conviction of murder in the second degree and determinate terms of imprisonment of 20 years followed by periods of postrelease
