Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court (Demarest, J.), entered July 3, 2012 in St. Lawrence County, which dismissed petitioner's application, in a proceeding pursuant to Mental Hygiene Law article 10, for his discharge from confinement at a secure treatment facility.

In 1984, petitioner was convicted of, among other things, sodomy in the first degree after he sexually assaulted two brothers, who were 11 and 14 years old.1
