On October 16, 2012, he was convicted upon his plea of guilty in Lysander Town Court of sexual abuse in the second degree (Penal Law § 130.60 [2]), a class A misdemeanor, after admitting that he had engaged in sexual contact with a person who was less than 14 years old.
