This action was commenced by a claim filed on October 14, 2011, in which claimant Mercedes Crespo alleged that at or about 5:30 p.m. on September 6, 2011, she tripped and fell in a hole due to defective pavement in the area behind 94 Amity Street in Brooklyn, New York. The claim alleges that the defect was the result of negligence by the State University of New York (SUNY) and Downstate at LICH Holding Company...
