Plaintiff is a former member of the Town of Hyde Park Police Department. The individually named defendants are a former Town Supervisor and three former Town Councilmen (collectively, the Town Board). This action seeks compensatory and punitive damages on the grounds that defendants obstructed or defeated plaintiff's civil service rights in violation of Civil Service Law § 106.
