In August 2005, defendants Jonathan Pantanella, Eric Monnet, Dan Shaver (hereinafter collectively referred to as defendants) and Kyle Nelson entered into a lease with plaintiff's predecessor-in-interest to rent an apartment on the second floor of a 12-unit residential apartment building.
