The defendant was convicted of murder in the second degree under a theory of felony murder, robbery in the first degree, and attempted robbery in the second degree based upon his intent to take an iPod from one of four boys. The People adduced evidence that, when the boys refused to surrender the iPod, the defendant summoned several others to assist in the robbery.
