Plaintiff Walter Reavely, a carpenter, was injured while assisting in the installation of a hang wall at the edge of a building foundation. Plaintiff's primary responsibility was to cut sheets of plywood into the smaller pieces that would be used for the wall. To do this, he used a type of circular saw with which he was highly experienced. He then fastened the plywood strips onto the foundation.
