Petitioner (hereinafter the father) and respondent (hereinafter the mother) are the unmarried parents of two children (a daughter born in 1994 and a son born in 1995). Pursuant to a 1995 custody order, the mother has primary custody of the children and the father has limited, supervised visitation. In 1999, the father was convicted of sexual battery in Florida (see generally Fla Stat Ann, tit 46, § 794.011) and served a sentence of imprisonment...
