(hereinafter BVFD) is a Type B not-for-profit fire corporation located in Steuben County and organized pursuant to N-PCL 1402 (b) for the stated purpose of "maintain[ing] a fire fighting and rescue unit to protect the Village of Bath and other contracted fire districts outside the Village."
