In criminal appeals, we often are asked to invoke our interest of justice jurisdiction, but for good reasons we seldom do. We exercise that authority in this case and reverse defendant's conviction for bribing a witness (Penal Law § 215.00), one of the three felony crimes for which the jury returned a guilty verdict, because the prosecution failed to fulfill basic disclosure obligations that are essential to a fair trial...
