Defendant pleaded guilty to the crimes of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and criminal contempt in the first degree in full satisfaction of a five-count indictment and waived his right to appeal. Pursuant to the plea agreement, the People agreed, on the record, to recommend a sentence of 1 to 3 years in prison.
