Ordered that the resentence is affirmed.

On October 18, 2004, the defendant pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the first degree and was sentenced on January 11, 2005, to a determinate term of 12 years imprisonment. In 2008 the defendant was brought before the Supreme Court for resentencing, so that the mandatory period of postrelease supervision (hereinafter PRS) could be imposed (see Penal Law § 70.45).
