In December 2007, defendant pleaded guilty to grand larceny in the fourth degree and was sentenced to a period of probation not to exceed one year. Subsequently, defendant was arrested and charged with violating the terms of his probation after being arrested for an incident in which he forced his way into his wife's car with a crowbar, pulled her out of the vehicle, dragged her into the house, forcibly removed her clothes and pushed her into the shower...
