Defendant, his sister Gina Casey, and Jacob Brabant were each charged with assault in the second degree, arising out of an incident on July 29, 2006 outside the Kozy Korner Tavern in the City of Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence County, during which the victim was beaten unconscious.
