Two police officers, Sean Slingerland and Milton Johnson, working in plainclothes and driving an unmarked car, encountered four males (including defendant) standing in a street next to a Honda blocking traffic while talking to someone in another vehicle. After a short delay, the males moved from the middle of the street, allowing the officers to pass.
