On August 25, 2006, plaintiff commenced this action to foreclose a mortgage given to it by defendant Anna Bruno. The action was also commenced against Anna Bruno's husband, Joseph Bruno. While the mortgage listed only Anna Bruno as the mortgagor, plaintiff asserted causes of action for reformation to add Joseph Bruno as a mortgagor and for an equitable mortgage against him.
