Defendant allegedly broke a window to gain access to the locked hallway of a building with apartments on Lexington Avenue in the City of Albany. He then fired shots from a .45 caliber pistol through the door of the apartment occupied by the victim, an individual he had known for over two years and with whom he had a recent disagreement.
