On June 3, 2003, plaintiff and defendant were involved in a motor vehicle accident in which a vehicle driven by plaintiff was struck by a vehicle driven by defendant. Plaintiff commenced this action against defendant to recover damages for neck and back injuries she allegedly sustained as a result of that accident.
