This matter arose while plaintiff Maria Alavrenga-Duran (Duran) occupied apartment 210, at 250 West 100th Street, New York, New York (the Apartment), which was owned and/or managed by defendant New Whitehall Apartments LLC (NWA) from the time of Duran's initial occupancy in February 1993 through 2004.
