In May 2003, defendant was charged in a two-count indictment with course of sexual conduct against a child in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child, arising out of his alleged sexual conduct with the daughter of his girlfriend. After he failed to appear for his arraignment, a second indictment was returned, charging him with bail jumping in the second degree. Defendant ultimately pleaded guilty to course...
