{1} The State of New Mexico appeals from the district court's order granting Defendant's motion for a protective order. The question presented is whether Defendant has a privilege to refuse to disclose, and to prevent others from disclosing, confidential communications he made to a licensed social worker for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment.
