{1} Plaintiff Dr. Chitra Bhandari (Bhandari) and her husband were both doctors at Artesia General Hospital (the Hospital). At a meeting to terminate her husband from the Hospital, Bhandari was told that her husband would be allowed to resign if she did so as well and, if she did not, he would be fired.
