{1} Defendant Norman Davis was indicted for possession of marijuana of eight ounces or more, a fourth degree felony, contrary to NMSA 1978, Section 30-31-23(A) and (B)(3) (2011), and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, contrary to NMSA 1978, Section 30-31-25.1(A) (2001). These charges resulted from the New Mexico State Police Operation "Yerba Buena 2006" aimed at marijuana eradication in the remote area...
