These two appeals, which we consolidate for purposes of this opinion, arise out of a joint trial in which two brothers, Fuquan K. Knight (defendant in A-377-20) and Shaquan K. Knight (defendant in A-437-21), were found guilty by a jury of armed robbery and other offenses.
