Plaintiff, James Flood, is the father of Keisha Flood and the administrator of her estate. On November 4, 2006, Keisha was evaluated at St. Joseph's Hospital (St. Joseph), after complaining of abdominal pain, and released.1 Two days later, Keisha returned with similar complaints and underwent evaluation by emergency room doctors before her admission.
