Stopped at a traffic light during an evening shift, taxi driver Murul Chowdhury was accosted by an uninvited passenger, defendant Norman Jackson. Defendant entered Chowdhury's taxi through the front passenger door, requested a ride, pointed a gun at the driver, and demanded the driver's money.
