Plaintiff Adele Konop suffered a perforated colon during a colonoscopy performed by defendant, Dr. Ellen J. Rosen, at the Hanover Endoscopy Center.1 Later the same day, Dr. Edward McLean performed an emergency laparotomy and colostomy on plaintiff at Morristown Memorial Hospital to repair the perforation.2
