Following a jury trial in Superior Court (Nadeau, J.), the defendant, Walter Hutchinson, Jr., was convicted of first-degree murder for the killing of Kimberly Ernest, and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. See RSA 630:1-a (2007 & Supp.2010). On appeal, he argues that the trial court erred in denying his motion to dismiss for insufficient evidence of causation of death...
