The defendant, Eric Hebert, challenges his misdemeanor conviction for simple assault. RSA 631:2-a (2007). He argues that the Superior Court (Abramson, J.) erred by permitting the State to introduce evidence of his prior felony conviction under former New Hampshire Rule of Evidence 609(a) and by failing to provide a limiting instruction. We affirm.
