A jury found that West Corporation (West) breached contracts with a former employee, Kenneth Marr, when it refused to pay certain compensation to which Marr claimed he was entitled upon his resignation. The jury returned a verdict in favor of Marr of just over $400,000. West thereafter filed a motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict...
