INTRODUCTION

Charles S. Trotter was convicted of two counts of first degree murder and two counts of use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony. He was sentenced to a term of 40 to 60 years' imprisonment for each murder conviction and 5 to 10 years' imprisonment for each use conviction, to be served consecutively.
