I. INTRODUCTION

Chloe P. was removed from the care and custody of her biological parents, Susan M. and Joseph P., and was later adjudicated as being within the meaning of Neb.Rev. Stat. § 43-247(3)(a) (Reissue 2008). Susan appeals, and Joseph attempts to cross-appeal.
